Terms of Use
Last updated: 28 October 2026
These terms apply when you use Memoreel (memoreel.video and app.memoreel.video), run by VideoSparks, Israel ("we", "us"). By using Memoreel you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.
1. A beta service
Memoreel is in beta. It is free for now, and it may change, break, lose work or stop at any time. It is provided "as is", without any guarantee that it will work, be available, or give a particular result. Projects are deleted automatically 14 days after you last open them, and we keep no backups, so download your video and keep your own copies of your photos and music.
2. Who can use it
You must be 18 or older. During the beta you need an access code from us; please don't share it publicly. We may remove access at any time.
3. Your photos and music
- You keep all rights to the photos and music you add and to the videos you make.
- You give us permission to store and process them only as needed to make your slideshow and run the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- You must own, or have permission to use, every photo and song you add, and have the consent of the people shown in the photos (or of a child's parent or guardian) where the law requires it.
- Music is often protected by copyright. Having a song on your computer does not mean you may use it in a video that is shown in public or posted online. Getting the right license for where you show or publish your video is your responsibility.
- The demo tracks in the app were made by us; you may use them in videos you make with Memoreel.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use Memoreel to upload content that is illegal, sexually explicit, involves the exploitation of minors, or violates someone else's rights or privacy. Don't try to break, overload or get around the security of the service, or access other people's projects. We may delete content and remove access if these terms are broken, and we will report illegal content to the authorities where required.
5. Responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for lost photos, music, projects or videos, for any damage caused by using or not being able to use Memoreel, or for how you use the videos you make. You are responsible for claims arising from content you add without the right to use it.
6. Changes and law
We may change these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, except where the law of the country you live in gives you protections that cannot be waived.
